History

Jim McCall, the owner of Rainbow Run Fly Shop, moved back to Montana in 1980. After returning, he was able to pursue his passion and worked as a river guide for the next three years. In addition to guiding, Jim spent time working for the other local fly shops, gaining experience and ideas for the perfect fly shop. In 1992, he started Rainbow Run Fly Shop. Now a sought after guide and experienced fly fisherman, Jim has logged more than thirty-five years of fly fishing in the Eastern Montana rivers and streams.
